Sophia Grace releases contraversial video

4 Jun

Almost 2 years ago (20 months) two girls from England, Sophia Grace Brownlee and her cousin Rosie McClelland, became Internet sensations with the video of their version of the Nicky Minaj hit “Super Bass”. Since then we have seen the two girls grow up in front of the camera as guest starred on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show?, interviewed celebrates at red carpet events and becoming book authors. Now, the two are back doing what first brought them fame as Sophia Grace Brownlee made her first original rap video entitled “Girls just gotta have fun”.

There have been some critics of the video calling it disturbing and that she is too young to be making a video with this type of subject matter. Whether or not that is true is up to the individual viewers of the video to decide. One thing is for certain though and that is that even the critics of her video are watching it and are bringing more attention to the girls. Here are some of the things those critics have been saying:

“WTF she should be singing about Barbie dolls, not partying,” writes one top commenter.

“This’s sick!! So auto tuned and Sophie is too young to release song and music videos. The lyrics weren’t good nor catchy. This’s just rubbish,” another says.

There have been just as many if not more supporters many of which have been sending there compliments to Sophia Grace’s twitter page.
